This webinar will highlight a program of research examining Eating Competence and its relationships with psychosocial well-being, executive functioning, and eating-related experiences among adult college students. Findings from multiple published studies will be presented, including research on everyday discrimination, weight-and-body shame, eating disorder risk, food insecurity, perceived stress, and executive function skills. The session will emphasize implications for post-secondary nutrition education and future research on eating competence in this population.
