Raise a Child Who is a Joy to Feed!

Our approach and advice is based on decades of research and clinical experience by Ellyn Satter and her colleagues. It has been proven to lead to a positive feeding relationship between parents, caregivers and children, while promoting good nutrition and optimal growth for the child.

Worried about how to feed your child, stressful meals, and who to turn to for advice? That is why we’re here.

We’re here to help you build confidence in feeding your child no matter their age or feeding concern. We’ll help you take the stress out of feeding and make it pleasurable again.

The Satter Approach

At the center of Satter’s work is the all-important feeding relationship. As a caregiver, your goal is to preserve this feeding relationship by supporting your child’s natural abilities to eat and grow.

Trying to get children to eat certain foods in certain amounts and grow in certain ways disrupts family meals, contributes to feeding and eating problems, and makes everyone miserable. Parents and caregivers who set aside these power struggles and choose to follow the Satter approach at eating times are amazed at how much better they (and their child) feel and do, not only at mealtime, but all the time.
