Coming Together: Getting the Whole Family on Board with Feeding

$30.00

On-demand webinar by Candace Aqui, BSc, BASc, MPH, RD and Rebeca Hernández, MS, LD

Get togethers during the holidays frequently include discussions about kids’ eating. There may even be advice on how your kid is behaving, acting and/or eating.

Eating with others – particularly close family members – can be stressful, especially when your feeding and eating approach is different from the theirs. Parents often struggle when adult family members, caregivers and friends who have different opinions about feeding and get involved by using their own tactics, creating disruption and confusion for the child.

Fortunately, there is way forward. The Satter Division of Responsibility in Feeding is a time-tested feeding model that helps families, and those who support families with feeding children. It acknowledges feeding as an important part of an adult’s caregiving responsibilities.
